We all know that home-schooling can be financially difficult.

Usually that means we need to make some kind of trade-off in order to make our convictions about education a reality for our families. Sometimes though, there is nothing to trade off and the difficulty is more than just uncomfortable.

In 2002 Home-Schooling Works began a program designed to try and help families with nothing to trade off. We designate nearly all of the book fair proceeds to fund what we call Book Fair Bucks; coupons that can only be redeemed at the book fair. We are continuing the program for 2008.

The application process is now closed. If you mailed us an application you will hear from us by regular mail before the book fair.
